QSFP+ Technical Features

All OptoSpan 40G QSFP Transceivers are RoHS compliant, 2-Wire Interface Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (SFF-8724) and designed to meet Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) standards for QSFP+ transceivers with LC interface.

OptoSpan premium QSFP+ (Quad Small Form-Factor Pluggable) transceiver modules are designed for high-density fiber optic network applications, providing four channels of data into one pluggable interface. QSFP+ Multimode and QSFP+ Single mode provide data rates of up to 40G and span distances of up to 10 kilometers. OptoSpan carries two lines of QSFP+ transceiver modules for different Manufacturer compatibility: Standard Series transceivers are compatible for use with brands such as Finisar, Avago, JDSU, and other generic brands. Platinum OEM Series QSFP+ transceivers are designed for specific compatibility requirements such as Cisco, Brocade, Juniper, Alcatel, HP, Nortel, EMC, QLogic, and others.
